If you plan on other cosmetic dental treatments, such as composite bonding or veneers, we may recommend whitening to ensure a better match between the restoration and natural teeth. However, whitening may not always be the best option depending on the condition of your teeth and your smile goals, as veneers or crowns do not respond to most whitening agents.

The Zoom Treatment

The Zoom treatment is quick and efficient, taking under an hour to transform your smile. Before the treatment, we recommend regular teeth cleaning for optimal results. Our experienced dental team applies a hydrogen peroxide whitening gel that penetrates your teeth when activated by our Zoom light to break up any stubborn stains and discoloration. 

During the 15-minute activation period, you can relax and enjoy your favorite TV show or music. We repeat this process for three 15-minute sessions, totaling a quick and efficient 45-minute treatment time. Following the procedure, we apply a special fluoride paste gel to reduce any sensitivity you may feel.

While most patients handle the treatment well, those with a sensitive gag reflex or anxiety may experience some difficulty.
